Read 'An Undressing'

A set of words and pictures were developed in response to Gertrude Stein’s 'Rooms' from her 1914 text - Tender Buttons.

These words and picture are also a response to my own ways of seeing the exterior surfaces of interior spaces- My seduction with the world’s skins.

A Moving pictures work was developed for and performed [along with an accompanying Mutual Undressing]  at the Subjectivities and Feminisms group performance dinner, hosted by Chelsea College of Art on 28/02/2014.

In 'mutual undressing', silk ribbons are pulled into straight lines by fingers & surfaces parcelled up and folded in on themselves are unfolded in time to words and pictures moving.

After the act, these words and pictures, are parcelled back into the pages of a newly formed book. Made object.
